Onelessplasticbag

It is strong, light and folds into a small pocket that goes easily into the smallest of handbags.

To encourage the reuse of shopper bags, Oneless is promoting a fabric bag with a unique double fold pocket which allows it to be tucked away neatly without using zips or poppers (patent pending). The Onelessplasticbag has the advantages of plastic bags by being strong, light and easy to carry around when empty. However, unlike plastic bags, it is also sustainable as it is either completely biodegradable or made from recycled material. The Oneless brand will also be carbon neutral with any pollution caused being offset through planting in the UK.

Size and strength

The bags are 38cm high and 36cm wide. The handle can go over your shoulder or be carried by your side. They were designed to take a record or two, a newspaper and some milk and bread, a bag of potatoes and some fruit, a grocery shopping trip or anything else you fancy. Their strength has been tested by being filled full of cans and shaken vigorously by the handle...

Style

There are two product ranges of the Onelessplasticbag.

§ The Onelessplasticbag Oneoff is both pretty and practical. They are fairly made in the UK (mainly in Rochdale) from beautiful secondhand saris. The designs available range from little flowers to geometric patterns and they come in the colours of the rainbow. Every bag is unique.

§ The Onelessplasticbag Eco is particularly aimed at shoppers in the large retailers and supermarkets. It is vegan, completely biodegradable, fairly traded and made of organic cotton. Onelessplasticbag Eco is still in the production phase. Please contact Jessica Symons if you would like to find out more.
