Thinkingwomen

Krata are instrumental in the development of thinkingwomen, a discussion and networking group promoting the achievements and progression of women in society, politics and the workplace. thinkingwomen is open to all women who want to make an impact in their working lives and beyond, through sharing knowledge and ideas.

It was established in London in 2002 with a chapter opening in Manchester in 2004. Women met monthly for the first few years to hear keynote speakers such as Susie Orbach, Harriet Harmon MP, Lady Denise Kingsmill and Barbara Stocking. The group is now mainly virtual, with a mailing list numbering almost 1000 members.
